Boxing legend Lennox Lewis isn’t done with the ring just yet. Though he retired undefeated in 2003 after defeating Vitali KlitschkoLewis has hinted at a possible comeback.

Now, with his old rival Mike Tyson set to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in November, Lewis himself has set his sights on “The Problem Child.”

Lewis is no stranger to facing Tyson. They met in 2002, with Lewis defending his WBC and IBF heavyweight titles in what would be Tyson’s last world title fight.

After a competitive start, Lewis dominated later rounds, ultimately knocking Tyson out in the eighth.

Confident that Tyson will beat Paul

Tyson and Paul’s originally planned fight for July was postponed due to Tyson’s health concerns. Despite the massive 31-year age difference, Lewis favors Tyson, dismissing Paul as not a “true fighter.”

“I hope that Tyson saves a little bit of Jake Paul for me,” he told Fox 29 Philadelphia.

Mike Tyson’s gonna winMike Tyson’s not that old. Don’t take him too softly. We’re one year apart.

“You can fight somebody like that and do well because the person you’re fighting is not a true fighter and there’s a hundred things that you’ve forgotten that he’s learning.

“[The age] will be a little bit of a determining factor if the fight goes on too long, but if they get close and Mike Tyson comes with his ten-second combination, if one of those punches catches him he’s definitely gonna go down.”
