Meghan Markle isn’t daddy’s little girl anymore.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, and her estranged dad, Thomas Markle, still have some major “unresolved” problems with each other.

According to relationship expert Louella Alderson, the pair don’t have an easy bond anymore and their relationship “could very well be beyond repair.”

Thomas and his daughter’s bond has been strained since she married Prince Harry in 2018, despite being close in her early years.

The 79-year-old recently made comments about the royal feud presented in Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival” — where members of the Firm allegedly made comments about how dark Markle’s son’s skin color would be when he was born.

“The fact that Harry and Meghan have not publicly distanced themselves from this strikes me as unusual,” Thomas told the Daily Mail earlier this week when he was asked about “Endgame.”

Alderson told the Mirror that Thomas’ association with Meghan will probably be done for good after his recent comments.

“It’s unlikely they will be able to mend their relationship anytime soon if Thomas Markle keeps sharing private information,” she said.

“There have been multiple instances of betrayal and hurt between them,” Alderson explained.

Nevertheless, she wouldn’t be surprised if their relationship took an “unexpected turn” in the opposite direction.

Their bond has potential to “mend and heal over time,” however, it really depends on both “being willing to put in effort and work towards reconciliation.”

She added: “It would take a lot of forgiveness and understanding from Meghan to repair her relationship with her father, and it’s unclear if she is ready or willing to do so at this point.”

Alderson then warned: “If Thomas continues to publicly speak out against his daughter without any remorse or understanding of how his actions may have hurt her, then it’s unlikely their relationship will be repaired.”

Thomas was set to attend the “Suits” star’s wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, but stayed home after he claimed he suffered a heart attack. In September, he alleged that he’s yet to meet his grandchildren.

“I’m heartbroken. I am very upset. This is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent, to deny the right to see a grandchild,” he said on “Good Morning Britain.”

“There’s no excuse for treating me this way, no excuse to treat grandparents that way,” he continued. “Meghan lived with me from sixth grade to high school, and I never saw anything like that. I never saw the kind of woman she turned into. I am shocked. She is not the person I knew as my daughter.”

The retired TV lighting director and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, divorced in 1987 after seven years of marriage.
