Caitlin Clark made history on Saturday, becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double. It was the latest in a long line of impressive games for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Perhaps Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter is finally impressed with Clark’s game.

Earlier this year, Carter took a shot at Clark, suggesting she does nothing but shoot 3-pointers.

“Besides three-point shooting what does she bring to the table man,” she asked.

Answer: A lot.

Everyone’s trolling Carter now.

“A triple double against a team that your team will never beat,” one fan wrote.

“Nobody wants to see a woman fail more than other women. Look at how this league speaks about their opponents Yes theres some trash talking in the NBA, but a lot of those men speak of their competition in a respectful manner and acknowledge their opponents talent,” one fan added.

“Ticket sales, 3’s from the logo, and a triple double. Not bad for a rookie,” one fan added.

“Chennedy that’s more than you bring to table. Just classless Hater,” another fan added.

Clark, meanwhile, has continued to take the high road amid any criticism or hating from her peers.

Brittney Griner Had Best Opinion On Caitlin Clark Not Making Olympics

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – SEPTEMBER 10: Brittney Griner #42 of the Phoenix Mercury walks on the court during a break in the first quarter of a game against the Las Vegas Aces at T-Mobile Arena on September 10, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Aces defeated the Mercury 100-85.

Brittney Griner, the longtime WNBA star, is set to represent the United States at the Summer Olympics in Paris, France, along with 11 of the league’s other top players.

Caitlin Clark, infamously, is not part of that group.

But while everyone is debating whether or not Clark should’ve made the roster, Griner had the best take on the matter. She made it clear that the United States women’s basketball selection committee has an incredibly tough job.

“I don’t want to be on that committee. That’s what I’ve always said. It’s a hard committee, there’s so many times each year on who is on the team and who isn’t on the team. It’s tough. I think anybody that’s on this team, can go, can win, but we’ll see in the fture how it goes,” Grinet told reporters this week.

And while most of the sports world expressed their frustration with the decision, Clark handled it with supreme class.

“I’m excited for the girls that are on the team,” she said. “I’m excited for them, going to be rooting them on to win gold. I was a kid who grew up watching the Olympics and it’ll be fun watching.”

She added: “Honestly, no disappointment. It just gives me something to work for.”
