Angel Reese went viral for a lot of things following the Chicago Sky’s showdown with the Dallas Wings at Wintrust Arena on Thursday. Her postgame presser, however, could very well be the most adorable reason.

After answering questions from reporters, Reese stood up from the podium and left. As she was walking out, though, kids and other fans can be heard shouting from the background in excitement.

By the looks of it, when Reese exited the press area, the fans waiting for her lost it—as proven by the louder cheers that followed.

Chennedy Carter and Marina Mabrey, who were left on the podium, were both surprised by the reaction and couldn’t help but laugh and smile.

The moment only goes to show how much Angel Reese is loved by the fans in Chicago. Amid the negativity she’s experiencing when it comes to media coverage, the Chicago faithful are certainly making sure she feels welcome and well supported in the city.

Reese is making sure she reciprocates the love on and off the court as well. Against the Wings, the Chi Barbie dropped 16 points and 18 rebounds, making history as the only rookie ever to have seven consecutive double-doubles.

Making things even better, the Sky snapped their four-game skid with a huge 83-72 win.

What a day for Reese, indeed.
