Over the weekend, Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky hosted Tina Charles and the Atlanta Dream. After being down by as many as 17, the Sky stormed back and got within three points late in the fourth quarter. However, the Dream pulled away, handing the Sky an 89-80 loss.
Reese recorded a third-straight double-double in the loss, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. The former LSU Tigers star also picked up five steals, a team-high. Former WNBA MVP Charles added 22 points and seven rebounds for the Dream.
Once the game had ended, Reese and Charles met for the first time and had a lengthy conversation with one another before hugging and parting ways.

“Tina Charles and Angel Reese hugging at the end of the game. Now this is good sportsmanship. Will the national media show this narrative?”
Reese replied to the above post, giving a four-word response on meeting Charles.
“learning from the best!”
Reese and the Sky will host the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday, June 12. Charles and the Dream will face the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, June 11.
