Britain’s Got Talent fans are convinced they’ve uncovered a tell tale sign Sydnie Christmas was ‘always going to win’.

During Sunday’s final, the audience crowned their winner and Sydnie took home the incredible £250,000 cash prize as well as a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance later this year. However, the win was subjected to ‘fix’ claims after spotting a ‘clue’ that Sydnie was going to win.

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to point out a tell tale sign Sydnie was ‘always going to win’. One person said: “Am I the only person who’s noticed that Sydnie Christmas is among the last to perform? They’re definitely fixing it for her to win #BGT”, a different

account put: “As everyone should know in the last 10 years it clearly promotes the act that is Cowells money shot tonight it is Sydnie Christmas everyone else is window dressing for the ultimate aim – fortunately this doesn’t always work out #bgtfinal” while another added: “Let’s see if they put Sydnie on last to make sure she gets more votes. #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

Sydnie Christmas was crowned a winner on Britain's Got Talent but viewers were not surprised
Britain’s Got Talent fans are convinced they’ve uncovered a tell tale sign Sydnie Christmas was ‘always going to win’
It comes as prior to Sydnie being crowned the winner, judge Simon Cowell, 64, hit back at ‘fix’ claims saying: “Winning is important, but, you know, getting into this final and importantly, doing something great, will actually make a difference. You know what was interesting? I worked out, I don’t think a single act tonight were professionals. They all had a regular job and they did something extraordinary.”

This year’s Britain’s Got Talent revealed Sydnie to the public as the first act to be awarded a Golden Buzzer, and a free pass to the live semi-finals, by judge Amanda Holden following her tear-jerking rendition of Tomorrow from the musical Annie. While ITV viewers were quick to

point out her past on the West End, criticising her for taking part in the competition despite having previous experience in showbusiness, Sydnie has been growing from strength to strength and her talents have received recognition from one of her favourite artists.

Sydnie was branded a firm favourite to win a spot at the Royal Variety Performance by bookies with Ladbrokes having the 28-year-old gym worker at 2/5 to win the talent show. Speaking after her win on Sunday, she said: “I cannot believe the amount of love I’ve felt since it aired. It’s absolutely – oh my God. I am overwhelmed with love and I wish for one day that everyone feels the way I do. It’s amazing, thank you so much.”
