During Tuesday’s contest against the Connecticut Sun at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Brink had to be carried off the court after suffering an apparent knee injury that looked to be non-contact.

The extent of the injury wasn’t initially clear, but Brink could be seen emotional on the ground as her teammates tended to her.

She was able to hop over to the sidelines but would soon start to collapse as she needed help to the locker room.

Fans prayed for her to be okay:

The injury went down in the first quarter as Cameron Brink fell down to the court as she made a move to the basket while being defended by Sun forward Brionna Jones.

Brink awkwardly planted her leg and immediately went down as she grabbed her left knee and screamed in pain.

Back in April, Cameron Brink joined the Sparks as the No. 2 pick in the WNBA Draft. She was not as well known as Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, but her looks and various sexy outfits helped her climb the popularity ladder.

Through 14 games played in her rookie campaign, Brink is averaging 8.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.4 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 39.8% from the floor and 32.3% from 3-point distance, per ESPN.com.
