Kim Kardashian has broken her silence and spoken out for the first time after being suggested as the main target of Taylor Swift in ‘thanK you aIMee’ – a track from the ’80s star’s new album ‘The tortured poets department.’

The lyrics include lines like: “There’s a giant bronze statue resembling your tanned skin. And underneath is a plaque. Covered in threats that I’d be pushed down the school stairs. And that lingering pain has always haunted me” and “While you threw punches, I diligently built my career. And I can’t tolerate what you did to me.” Taylor Swift has previously detailed her feud with Kim Kardashian, saying it left her emotionally devastated and psychologically scarred.

Despite all the gossip, Kim insists her life is still good. The founder of the Skims brand recently had an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Host Jimmy joked about Taylor’s newly released album in the opening segment but did not ask any more “pressing” questions – completely opposite to what fans are most concerned about right now.

“I’m sure Kim asked the show’s editors to request that host Jimmy stay away from questions about Taylor,” one commenter remarked. Fans were even furious that the reality star deliberately avoided discussing Taylor Swift’s song and the pain she and her ex-husband Kanye West caused Taylor in the past.

Kim Kardashian is reportedly ready to end the feud with Taylor Swift. An insider told People that Kim “doesn’t understand why Taylor keeps bringing it up.”

However, not sitting idle, Kim stirred things up by sharing an old photo with model Karlie Kloss – once a close friend of Taylor. Many fans were “shocked” to see Karlie hanging out with Kim Kardashian’s sisters in the past – Taylor Swift’s “sworn enemies,” sparking rumors that Karlie had betrayed her old friend.

In 2023, Taylor was honored as Person of the Year by Time magazine and shared again the “bullying” incident Kim and Kanye caused her years ago. The singer said the lifelong feud had severely affected her.

She confided to America’s top magazine: “It took my mental state to a place I had never been before. I moved abroad. I didn’t leave my rental home for a year. I was afraid to answer phone calls. I pushed most people in my life away because I didn’t trust anyone anymore, I was truly broken.”
