Travis Kelce is turning out to be an all-rounder. His expertise extends beyond the gridiron.

The Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end who is also the boyfriend of pop icon Taylor Swift showed his mastery with a baseball bat. Kelce was among the celebrity guests invited to be part of David Njoku’s charity softball event in Cleveland.

The challenge of the contest was hitting the most home runs. Players split into two teams, with Njoku being one of the captains. Former Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt scored 10 homers to give his team a big lead.

Being a Cleveland Heights native, it was no surprise that Travis Kelce would show up at Classic Auto Group Park, home of the minor league Lake County Captains, a few miles from his home. He joined the team led by Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett.

Kelce has played high school baseball, so he had a decent experience in hitting a pitch. Following Hunt’s knock, the three-time Super Bowl Champion took over the bat and hit 11 long homers to win the contest 20-5 for Garrett’s team.

After hitting the final home run, Kelce celebrated by flipping his bat and taking a lap around the bases.

During the closing ceremony, he received an award for being the best player. A trinket that he could show Taylor Swift, who is scheduled to perform in Scotland this weekend.

Even though Kelce and Njoku play for different teams in the NFL, they are part of the same football brotherhood. The ‘Tight end University.’

Several tight ends in the league mark themselves as part of the brethren, including the San Francisco 49ers George Kittle. Njoku and Kelce’s friendship off the field has grown a lot in the last few years, so when the all-time post-season reception leader attended the event, Njoku was pleased.

That's my guy, man. He's one of the purest human beings I've met in my life honestly. Always means well. Just great overall dude.

David Njoku said per ESPN.com

Kelce has always been a massive backer of the Cleveland Guardians team that competes in Major League Baseball. They are currently 41-22, in the ongoing season after beating the Miami Marlins by 8-0 scoreline.

In the meantime, Kelce shot a commercial with LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne for ‘Accelerator’ Energy Drink.
