Sebastian Bash Reveals Skid Row & Bon Jovi Reunion

Sebastian Bach expressed his desire for a Skid Row-Bon Jovi reunion in a Metal Hammer fan Q&A. He responded to a question regarding who would win a battle with Jon Bon Jovi: We’re artists, not combatants, so it doesn’t make sense. Can you image Bon Jovi touring with Richie Sambora and Skid Row as openers? As Guns N’ Roses did, we could tour it worldwide. Maybe not that many times, but it would be a significant draw.”

In the 1980s, the two bands fought on tour, according to the ex-Skid Row vocalist’s memoirs, 18 and Life on Skid Row. The increased popularity of Bon Jovi’s opening act, Youth Gone Wild, allegedly caused the conflict.

Bach-Bon Jovi War Is Over
After meeting years later, the main vocalists dropped the rivalry. In 2006, Bach and Axl Rose were eating at the Mandarin Orientel Hotel when a server told them Jon Bon Jovi wanted to ‘say hi.’ Singer from Skid Row recalled: Jon stared at me like, “Are you a fucking dick?” Will you be cool? I said, ‘Hey, guy, how we doing?’ We enjoyed a long, successful journey together and many lovely memories, despite what the internet says. I invited him to our table, and Jon, Axl, and I had a lovely night drinking red wine and reminiscing.”

After voice surgery, Jon is resting from live performances. Sebastian is planning a U.S. tour to promote his current album, ‘Child Within the Man.’ Bach’s Skid Row comeback is questionable. Since Erik Grönwall quit touring due to health difficulties, Lzzy Hale is leading the band.
