Richie Sambora mocks Jon Bon Jovi’s lie confession

Richie Sambora insulted his bandmate’s lying confession. A user uploaded a Jon Bon Jovi interview video on X, and the musician responded. The footage showed him discussing his new Bon Jovi documentary:

“That’s how bands work: One lies, and the rest swears.” This video’s poster suggested the documentary was fabricated. Richie’s answer to the post seems to be satire and a nod to others’ ideas. He replied to the user: “That’s hilarious!”

After the Hulu docuseries “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” the former Bon Jovi guitarist emerged in public a few weeks ago. He headlined the 11th Annual Unbridled Eve Kentucky Derby Gala at The Galt House Hotel. People magazine interviewed Sambora about the series. He said it emphasized his former bandmate Jon Bon Jovi’s trip rather than his own:

This is his project and viewpoint. I see things differently.” ‘Thank You, Goodnight’ chronicles Sambora’s break from the band to raise his kid after his divorce. Jon said he and the guitarist viewed portions of the program together and had no bad blood before it aired: His visit to my residence included three docuseries episodes. Never animosity.” Jon hasn’t addressed Sambora’s statements.
