Yung Gravy’s version of Hawk Tuah girl’s phrase ‘for the boys’ has ‘sent’ social media users

Yung Gravy has shared ‘the moment of truth’ after Hawk Tuah ‘lied’ about their interactions.

As I sit here wondering what on earth life has come to that the news is filled with names such as Yung Gravy and ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl and thinking how on earth I’d explain it all to my grandpa if he was still alive, the viral duo have seemingly put an end to their drama – if you realized that there was any drama going on at all.

Since finding viral fame after revealing what she does to really get the boys going, Hawk Tuah girl – real name Haliey Welch – was interviewed by TMZ about ‘anyone new’ she’s been interacting with.

In a clip shared to Twitter, Welch can be seen revealing that she’s been in touch with Yung Gravy – full name Matthew Raymond Hauri – and when asked whether she thinks he was trying to ‘get with’ her, she replied: “He wants to take me on a date and I was like, ‘Arghh I don’t know about that’.”

Yung Gravy then shared an insight into his interaction with Welch in his Instagram DMs to back up his recollection of events.

The alleged screenshot of the Instagram DM conversation between Welch and Yung Gravy sees Welch reach out to the rapper on July 31 at 1:44am messaging: “Hello sir.”

The musician then replies in the form of three messages, writing: “Damn I just looked at ur page u really out here doing this s**t lol congrats.

“When i went to find ur page i was fr just tryna salute u for being a certified top champ. Oh and this aint just me trying to finesse cause idk ur mans situation <3 but i wanted to have u at a show next month to hear my country s**t.”

Welch responds: “When is it?”

Welch later shared her own screenshots of the chat and Yung Gravy has since responded to all the drama.

In his own interview with TMZ, the singer-songwriter admitted to sliding into Welch’s DMs.

He continued: “I wanted to show her some love, I saw people hating on her and you know, being mad negative. All she’s doing is talking about sex and doing it the right way. That’s what I do and no one’s mad about that.

“I think I invited her to a show, I don’t believe I mentioned a date.”

He added he ‘didn’t even ask her on a date’ so doesn’t know why she’d have said ‘no’.

Before carrying on his way, Yung Gravy added he believes ‘women deserve their own Hawk Tuah,’ resolving: “For all the boys out there, if I’m going down on a woman, we’ll call it the splash stallion.”

Congratulations if you made it through the action the rapper did next without getting seriously awkward and having to look away.

And it’s not taken long for social media users to weigh in on it all.

One Twitter user said: “I feel like you both have the same representation and this is just a big pr thing for you both to come together and squash it.”

Referring to Yung Gravy’s enactment of the so-called ‘splash stallion,’ another wrote: “The last moment sent me.”

And a third simply resolved: “Alright time for bed buddy!”
