NEW York Mets fans have been left incensed by an officiating call during their win on Monday night.

The Mets took down the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 at Busch Stadium in their first of three games in Missouri.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Mets.

At the top of the eighth inning, with a slender 4-3 lead, Mets center fielder Harrison Bader made a run for third but was ruled out by officials.

The extremely close call prompted a challenge by the Mets, only for it to be upheld upon review.

Boos resonated throughout the stadium, while announcers Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez expressed their astonishment at the decision.

“That is hard to believe,” commented Cohen.

“It certainly looked like he was safe,” Hernandez said, adding, “I beg to differ.”

“They went with, ‘Not to be,'” joked Cohen after rewatching the play, which appeared to show Bader reaching the plate before being tagged.

Mets fans quickly took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share in their frustration.

“Obviously rigged,” one commented.

“Replay review is useless,” replied a second.

“MLB replay is an absolute joke. He’s clearly safe,” a third added.

While another responded, “They may be biased in the replay center because that was quite obvious.”

Bader finished the night with just the solitary hit.

Center fielder Brandon Nimmo stole the show with a game-clinching homer at the top of the seventh.

After the game, Nimmo was asked if he felt he’s begun to hit his stride over the last couple of weeks. In response, he expressed confidence in his performance throughout the entire season.

“I’ve felt like, ‘Hey, it’s coming around,'” he remarked.

“I still feel like there’s more in the tank that I can get better at, but I also believe that we’ve just stayed the course and just been trying to make little, I’m talking small small adjustments along the way.”

Nimmo’s homer against St. Louis marked his second in a week and only his fourth of the season.

MLB replay is an absolute joke. He’s clearly safe.
