According to recent reports from TMZ Sports, Philadelphia 76ers guard Cameron Payne was arrested on Friday morning in Arizona for providing false information to the police.

According to reports from the Scottsdale Police Department, Department officers were told about a disturbance that needed to be investigated in Scottsdale at around 2:44 AM. When the police arrived, they found Payne and one other guy at the location.

However, it is still not clear what happened at that location, as the police only told them that when cops asked them about their names and other details, they then gave different names and some false information about themselves. The cops arrested the 76ers guard and that other guy on the spot and charged them with providing false information. However, TMZ Sports reported that Payne was later released from custody.
