The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris officially ended after the closing ceremonies took place on Sunday, with performers such as Snoop Dogg and Billie Eilish appearing. Some Athletes are already preparing for Los Angeles in 2028, but not Kevin Durant.
Kevin Durant, Lebron James, and Team USA took home the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics after taking on the host country in the gold medal game. Kevin Durant was one of the stars of the basketball team throughout the games.
After winning the medal, Team USA is enjoying some much-needed time off as Durant and teammate Devin Booker were spotted hanging out on a yacht in south France. Booker and Durant are set to play for the Phoenix Suns together again in 2024
Kevin Durant Enjoys Time Off After Olympics With Teammate Devin Booker
In an X post, Hoop Central noted that the two were having the time of their lives by posting a picture of Durant going down a slide while Booker floats on a tube just vibing. One fan joked that they were “shocked” he wasn’t practicing his jumper.
Some fans also seem to think the NBA star is unlikeable, and one pointed out that he only seems likable in the photos due to Booker’s presence. If we’re being honest, how can a yacht slide not make anyone a little more enjoyable?
Someone even noticed Devin Booker’s laid-back demeanor in one of the photos, commenting, “Book just always looks like the coolest MFer on earth at all times.”
Whatever the case, both players deserve their time off after competing at the Olympics. Some would say an Olympic gold medal is worth a shortened summer, and Durant and Booker might ultimately agree.
