Taylor Swift’s loyal army of supporters may be fans of Travis Kelce, but they certainly had something to say about his obnoxious phone ringtone. 

The Chiefs tight end, who reported to training camp earlier this week, answers his phone to the tune of a shrill screaming noise, it was revealed.

The Kansas City star first unveiled the tone in 2015 during an interview with the NFL Network, and he hasn’t updated it in nearly a decade.

His New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his older brother Jason, posted the throwback on Tuesday amid the pair’s recording hiatus.

‘Trav had the greatest ringtone of all time in 2015,’ the clip was captioned.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes quickly chimed in, ‘That man still has that ringtone lol,’ to which the New Heights account replied, ‘Some things never change.’

Many of Swift’s fans also responded to the post, outraged at Kelce’s brazen tone.

‘poor tay that phone better be on silent mode,’ one person wrote.

Another added, ‘Taylor has to listen to that anytime that man gets a call poor woman works so hard to go home and get disturbed by that sound lmaoooo.’

A third joked, ‘Taylor is better than me, I would’ve changed that ringtone the second he fell asleep.’

The revelation comes amid Travis’ return to the US after he spent much of the summer travelling around Europe following Swift’s Eras Tour.

However, before shifting his focus back to football, the three-time Super Bowl champ savored every moment he had with the 14-time Grammy winner.

A source told PEOPLE how hard it was for Travis to leave Swift in Europe when he returned Stateside.

‘Travis’ last few concerts were bittersweet,’ the insider shared of Kelce’s trip to Germany.

‘They knew their time together like this was coming to an end and he made sure to spend every minute he could with Taylor,’ they went on.

‘It’s definitely tough to be apart but they do everything they can to make it work and show up for each other,’ the source added.

‘They’re so in love and very, very happy together. All their friends and family can see it.’

The pair began dating in the summer of 2023 after he attended her concert at the Chiefs’ home, Arrowhead Stadium.
