Everyone Made The Same Joke About Seminoles QB DJ Uiagalelei Following Florida State’s Shocking Loss To Georgia Tech

New Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is getting destroyed online following the Seminoles’ loss to Georgia Tech in Saturday’s opener.
The Noles went unbeaten last season but found out that would not be the case this time around at the first time of asking, with the Yellow Jackets winning 24-21 on a last-second field goal in Dublin, Ireland.
Uiagalalei threw for a total of 193 yards and zero touchdowns on 19/27 passing. He led an impressive fourth-quarter drive to tie things up at 21-21, having made two fourth-down completions before running back Roydell Williams ran the ball in for the score.
But the unranked Georgia Tech put a drive of their own together to take them into field goal range before running down the clock and kicking it in for the win.
The FSU QB immediately became the butt of jokes online, with several fans wondering how he was ever ranked above C.J. Stroud, who’s now a top quarterback in the NFL.
“HOW WAS DJ UIAGALELEI RANKED HIGHER THAN STROUD 😭,” a fan commented.
“Dj Uiagalelei losing to unranked teams on his 3rd college while cj stroud is a top 10 qb in the nfl is wild,” said another.
“If you think this means DJ Uiagalelei sucks…how about the website that evaluated the players and picked DJ U over CJ Stroud… DJ U isn’t a bust, the websites got it wrong and we let them get away with blaming the young man, instead of acknowledging the websites missed,” someone else said, blaming the messenger.

DJ Uiagalelei’s Career Hasn’t Quite Gone According To Plan
Uiagalelei chose to play out his final college season with FSU in the hopes of increasing his draft stock, but he will have a lot of work to do following today’s opening loss.
Projected to be a top pick a few years ago, the 23-year-old now playing for his third program in five years, having previously attended Clemson and Oregon State.
Meanwhile, Stroud and Bryce Young, one of whom he ranked above, have already begun their NFL careers.
