Jennifer Lopez is reportedly “over” trying to fix her marriage with Ben Affleck amid rumours that the couple are having marital issues and are said to be headed for divorce.

A source has told DailyMail that the actress has reached her limit and is no longer interested in doing “more” to save her relationship with the Hollywood star. “Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse,” a music industry source told the publication.

The insider shared that the reason why the singer “left” her 51-year-old husband was because he was always “grumpy and negative”. “Jennifer is sad about the end of her nuptials but “is trying to make the best of it by working out, spending time with her twins Max and Emme and making new plans for 2025”, they went on.

“Ben is a great guy but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn’t smile. If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her,” the insider, who is close to Jennifer, said.

“He chain smokes and cusses and seems irritated a lot of the time. Great director and actor, but not a lot of laughs with him, you know?” the source added. “He is a wonderful father though.”

The source says that Ben’s career brings him stress. “He is now filming Accounting 2 and the hours are really long, he is working hard at it and it’s a lot to juggle with marriage and kids,” the source said. “So sometimes he is not in the best mood.”

On the other hand, the actress had to cancel her This Is Me…Live tour amid reports that their relationship was on the rocks reportedly to “recollect herself,” giving her critics even more of a reason to celebrate. But now that the insider says the marriage is “over,” she plans on rescheduling her tour for summer 2025.

The insider says Ben’s bad mood has affected the singer

“She is excited about going on tour next year when her personal life is on calmer ground and she can connect with her fans. She will take her tribe with her and make the most of it,” said the source.

The Atlas star has been getting loads of criticism online regarding the breakup and other rumors. “If people could see what she has really gone through they would be easier on her,” said the source. “She is really not used to this kind of bad feedback, but she will get over it. She will march on,” the insider continued. “Jennifer is a very smart and strong woman and she will bounce back, she always does!”

The source says the pair are reportedly waiting until their children are done with school to announce their divorce. Jen shares Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. While Ben shares Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
