The host had grown accustomed to having the largest dressing room with an ensuite

WHOOPI Goldberg is “furious” over her new The View dressing room without a bathroom and is “refusing” to use it, an insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

The daytime talk show veteran, who sat at the helm of the show for a stunning 17 years, was said to be angry about the dressing room ABC has given her in the new downtown New York City studio for The View.

“It’s so small, and she doesn’t have her own bathroom,” the insider quipped.

A second source explained that the long-standing host is used to her luxe accommodations at the former studio uptown.

“Whoopi had the biggest dressing room with an ensuite including a shower and full bathroom,” the insider added.

The source said that other than the veteran host, only Joy Behar had her own bathroom, but despite that, Whoopi’s was the largest of the dressing rooms.

“She had a large table in her room, so she would hold the morning meetings and all the ladies would have to go to Whoopi’s in the morning,” the second insider added.

The first source said that despite grumbles over the move, the 68-year-old daytime host is not about to leave her dressing room fate to her ABC overlords.

“She’s moving her production office, which is currently near the ABC uptown studios, right next door to the new ABC studios downtown.

“Whoopi is that determined to use her own dressing room at her production studios, rather than use the paltry ABC accommodations,” the first insider quipped.

Meanwhile, both sources said that The View’s studio move downtown is in full swing.

“They are in the process of moving now, the last day on the set was four days ago,” the second added.

The U.S. Sun reached out to reps for Whoopi and The View.

The star has faced rumors that she is set to retire, though her major moves to make sure her commode is within reach suggest otherwise.

The host previously addressed retirement rumors in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun in October last year.

“I’ve done nothing but retire. I’ve been retired my whole career, so I kind of like that,” Whoopi joked.

The View star only works four days a week and is off on Fridays as part of her ABC deal, which is when Ana Navarro joins the show in addition to her Monday seat.

“I have a contract. As long as I’m doing the contract, nobody’s mad.

“But I’ve been off on Fridays for years now because when we did that normally, I’d go to work and do shows or do whatever because I could travel on a Friday,” Whoopi continued.

OTHER THINGS IN THE WORKS

Aside from The View, Whoopi is known for her movie roles and appearances on various drama shows.

Having her production company close to The View studio makes sense, as the host keeps a busy work schedule outside of her hosting duties.

In March, Whoopi released her new film, Outlaw Posse.

She also appears to have multiple projects in the works, according to her IMDB.

She has an animated musical film called Fairy Tale Forest, another animated film titled Pierre the Pigeon-Hawk, and the much-anticipated sequel Sister Act 3, all in the works.

Whoopi is that determined to use her own dressing room at her production studios, rather than use the paltry ABC accommodations.

The star also released her memoir, Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother, and Me, on May 7.

The semi-autobiographical tome chronicled the Hollywood star’s life, career, and family.

“This book is dedicated to my mother and my brother and our time together as a small, funny little unit. It’s dedicated to anyone who’s found themselves on a scary path not of their choosing or dealing with loss,” she told People.

“This book is dedicated to everyone who is just trying to figure out the small stuff as well as the stuff where you have to be more than you thought you could be and it’s dedicated to love.”
