“One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair,” Billy began. “That’s @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds.”

“The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus,” Billy shared.

“I’m incredibly proud of her,” he said of his daughter, calling her “a survivor and a true artist.” “She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.”

Fans found the post very sweet. One person called it “very heartwarming,” while another said it was so “Precious!!!!”

“What a beautiful text Billy,” a third fan wrote below the post. “Aww, so precious!” another added.
Billy’s post comes amid rumored tension in their relationship, which reportedly began after he and Tish Cyrus divorced in 2022.

They had been married for almost 30 years at that point.

Things have reportedly been so tense that when Billy Ray married singer Firerose last year, Miley reportedly skipped the ceremony after previously attending her mom’s wedding to Dominic Purcell.

Miley also noticeably left out Billy Ray during her big “Record of the Year” Grammys speech this year, thanking Tish instead. “I don’t think I forgot anyone. But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!” Miley joked, before leaving the stage.

So far, neither she nor Billy Ray has addressed the rumored feud or the current state of their relationship, but we’ll let you know if they do. In the meantime, you can view Billy’s post here.
