Vanessa Bryant Shares Heartfelt Tribute with Stunning New Kobe Bryant LA28 Emblem Announcement

After missing several opportunities to play for Team USA, Bryant played his first international game on the 2007 USA Men’s Senior National Team. That year, the five-time NBA champion was selected for the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he defeated Spain in the championship match to earn the gold medal. However, after capturing another gold medal for Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Bryant decided to resign from the national team.

We designed this emblem in his honor. We hope this inspires the Mamba mentality in every aspiring Olympian and Paralympian. We’re so proud to see this emblem represent the Los Angeles games. I know Kobe would be so proud to host the games in this great city. Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant said.

Bryant’s legacy and Mamba mentality continue to inspire athletes across all sports.
