Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao weighs Mike Tyson’s chances of winning before his fight with Jake Paul

Jake Paul will now face legendary former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on November 15 after the fight was postponed due to a medical issue with the retired pro. Tyson had been expected to face the brash YouTuber turned boxer on July 20 live on Netflix as one of the streaming services first foray into live sports.

However ‘Iron’ Mike suffered a an ulcer flare-up on board a flight at the end of May which put the fight in doubt.

The former ‘Baddest Man On The Planet’ put out a statement in the days following confirming that due to the incident he would have to postpone the bout following advice from his doctor.

“I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover.

My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone’s patience and can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.”

When asked by Fight Hub TV if Paul had any chance of beating the now 57-year-old, former eight-weight world champion Manny Pacquiao laughed off any possibility.

“Haha, I don’t think so.”

Roy Jones Jr was the last man to step into the ring with Tyson when the two battled it out to a draw in an exhibition back in 2020. Jones says Tyson, even at the age of 54, was the hardest puncher he had ever faced and predicts Paul wouldn’t be able to take the same shots he did.
