American NBA prospect Bryce James

LeBron James’ youngest son, Bryce Maximus, also seems destined for a career on the courts.

But just like his brother Bronny, the young player finds himself at the heart of controversy after a series of abysmal performances.

LeBron James has succeeded in his bet: he will play with his son Bronny next season, the latter having been drafted in 55th position by the Lakers.

But does the latter really have the level to break into the NBA ?

Despite a more promising end to the Summer League, the first steps of the person concerned with his franchise as well as his struggles in the university championship leave room for a lot of concerns.

Initially, Bronny should therefore learn the ropes on the G League side in order to refine his game, before eventually joining the main group.

And if the experience should not be conclusive, the King will always have a fallback solution… because his youngest son Bryce Maximus is also a lover of the orange ball.

Bryce James Gets Slammed After Disastrous Performance

Just like his older brother, the young boy has been in the spotlight for years, especially since his physique suggests a real athletic freak.

But if the NBA franchises were already looking at him a few months ago, the wind has drastically changed recently…

NCAA editor for The Athletic , Kyle Tucker demolished him after his performances at the Peach Jam:

He averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.0 assists at the Peach Jam where he shot 31% from the field and finished 3-of-17 from three-point range. Can we stop?

In the eyes of many fans, Bryce was looking even more promising than Bronny .

But at the moment, only Duquesne and Ohio State have deigned to make him an offer to join them in the NCAA.

He won’t be eligible for the draft until 2026, so he still has some time ahead of him, but it’s still worrying…

And while his father and brother are good at distributing the ball, that doesn’t seem to be the case for him.

How can you average 0 assists?😭😭

Like Bronny James, Bryce Maximus is going to have to face monstrous pressure in the coming months. It’s definitely not easy to follow in LeBron’s footsteps… It remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to reverse the trend.
