Britney Spears’ relationship with her family remains strained, with the pop star recently admitting she hasn’t fully forgiven her parents for the role they played in her conservatorship.

Earlier this week, Britney made a now-deleted Instagram post referring to her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears. “There was a time when I was held in a spot against my will for a very long time,” she wrote in the caption. “I haven’t been the same since.”

After “Baby One More Time” and “Oops! I Did It Again” came out, Britney was becoming a huge star, and she started making serious cash.

“I portray myself as very together on IG, but there are a lot of people who don’t know what my body physically went through!” she continued.

“I feel bullied, and it’s not fair to me,” Britney went on. I have to be the bigger person and forgive my own parents…but that’s extremely hard! I will do my best to let it go and not let others down by my anger.”

Britney’s parents haven ‘t responded to her comments, but there have been rumblings the singer may be put in a conservatorship given her recently worrisome behavior. Earlier this month, Britney got into an altercation with her boyfriend at Chateau Marmont, which resulted in paramedics to be called to check on an ankle injury Britney sustained.

In the wake of the incident, the public has been more worried than ever over Britney’s well-being, with claims that her team is weighing their options over how to help her. Still, Britney took to social media to call out her mom after the Chateau Marmont argument, blaming Lynne for the situation even though she wasn’t present at the time.

Sharing a close-up of her ankle injury, Britney wrote, “I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!!”

“I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it,” she added.

With reports that the #FreeBritney movement is gearing up to advocate for the singer’s independence, one report claims Britney’s team is worried about her well-being, but there’s little they can do since she was freed from er conservatorship in 2021.

“Britney seemed completely out of it,” a source who apparently saw the Chateau Marmont fight told In Touch. “If she wasn’t high on something she was definitely off her meds.”

Britney Spears is a worldwide superstar and one of the top 10 selling female artists ever, but how does she rank on streaming platforms?

“She has no concept of money,” another source told Page Six. “For over a decade, other people were in charge of her bank accounts, and every purchase had to be reported to the court — even if it was just a pack of gum. But now, she’s on her own.”

They added that her team is “in a precarious position,” since they don’t “rock the boat and make her feel like she is in a conservatorship again.” If another conservatorship is put in place, it may be a difficult process to get there.
