While attempting a block during the Indiana Fever’s matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Monday, Caitlin Clark hit Jordin Canada on the head as she drove to the basket for a layup. Reacting to the incident, WNBA fans called out hypocrisy on the matter as Clark was previously alleged to be a target of hard fouls in the league.
“So let this be proof that Caitlin Clark commits these type of fouls too. Going for the block but hits Jordin Canada upside the head,” a fan tweeted.

“How this wasn’t reviewed to me is bogus. If roles were reversed, it would have been replayed everywhere 100x,” a fan tweeted.
“But when Angel did the same thing that sh*t got covered on the news for days and the Internet went shambles how is that fair 🤷🤷,” a fan tweeted.
“Thug. How does it feel CC Clan? Classy play?” a fan tweeted.
“I wonder if @EmmanuelAcho and @ShannonSharpe are gonna go on rants tomorrow saying Caitlin needs to stop being jealous and petty,” a fan tweeted.
“Clearly Clark is just jealous and resentful of all the attention Jordin Canada is receiving,” a fan tweeted.
Caitlin Clark has previously been on the receiving end of various hard fouls in the league. While she’s often reported to be allegedly resented by the members of the WNBA, Clark has always maintained the stance of the league being highly physical wherein such incidents can easily occur without any ill intention.
