With the long offseason ahead, Damian Lillard is utilizing the ample time in his hand by reacting to the happenings on social media. During the break, Damian Lillard planned on catching on to the drama-filled game between the German and French basketball teams. With the 2024 Paris Olympics almost upon us, the teams are in the final stretch of preparation.

On Saturday’s exhibition match between Germany and France in Cologne, things got heated. In the second quarter of the game, Dennis Schroder tried to attack the France defense and was knocked off the ball by Evan Fournier. The Nets guard did not take kindly to that and confronted Fournier. After Schroder put his hand on Fournier, the Pistons forward retaliated by grabbing the throat of Schroder. The two needed to be separated by their teammates as things got tense.

While the action was serious enough to earn Fournier an ejection, Damian Lillard found the humor in it.

“The flinch after running up got me dead man,” wrote the Bucks guard in a caption after posting the video on his IG story.

Lillard found the funny side of things in this scenario, but when it came to the WNBA, he was back to his serious best. Before assessing the action on the global stage, Lillard set his eyes on basketball in the USA and left his remarks on it.

Damian Lillard Reacts to WNBA Record

On Friday, the Sky went head-to-head against the Storm. In the 88-84 win for the Chicago side, Angel Reese recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and racking up 10 rebounds. This took her double-double streak to 12, and she tied Candace Parker’s record.

Damian Lillard took to social media to react to it as well. Lillard posted a picture that showed Reese’s statline and captioned it, “Angel going crazy.”

While action continues on the global scene and in the WNBA, for Lillard it’s time to recover and get ready for the next season. After a disappointing debut season with the Milwaukee side, Dame Time will be eager to put things right, and he also started the preparation for it. With his teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo eyeing a strong performance in the Olympics, Lillard will surely keep his eyes on international basketball and share some more reactions with his 10.3 million followers.
