Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull had a standout performance against the Seattle Storm in their latest game, and her mother proudly shared her joy over her daughter’s accomplishment.
Lexie Hull tallieda career-best 22 points on 8-for-10 shooting, including 6-for-7 from beyond the arc, on Sunday, leading the Fever to a 92-75 victory over the Storm and improving their record to 13-15.
Her mother took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her pride, writing:
“Welp, she proved me right. 🥰 She has always had it in her. She’s not always going to have games like this, but she will never not give 💯!! It’s just who she is!!! #proudmom”

Lexie Hull, now in her third year with the WNBA, has played all her games with the Fever. She was drafted sixth overall out of Stanford University in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
With her latest performance, she has set a new career high each season. In August 2022, her rookie year, she scored 17 points. She recorded 20 points in July 2023 during her second season.
Her 22-point game against the Storm was only the third time she scored in double digits this season, having previously scored 12 in May against the Las Vegas Aces and 10 in June against the Connecticut Sun.
Caitlin Clark sets WNBA rookie record on Lexie Hull’s career night
It wasn’t just Lexie Hull’s night; Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark also made headlines.
Clark broke a 26-year-old WNBA record set by Ticha Penicheiro, who had 224 assists in 30 games with the Sacramento Monarchs in 1998.
Clark surpassed the record before halftime in her 28th game, finishing with nine assists and a total of 232 assists.
The Fever have been on a winning streak since their last loss to the Dallas Wings in July before the Olympics break.
They secured a 98-89 win over the Phoenix Mercury before their recent blowout win against the Storm.
With a 13-15 record, they currently sit seventh in the standings, with the 15-13 Mercury above them and the 11-16 Chicago Sky below.
They have 12 games remaining in the season, with their next five games including tough opponents such as the Minnesota Lynx, Atlanta Dream, Connecticut Sun and Chicago Sky, with only the game against the Sun being at home.
Following this challenging stretch, they will have six consecutive home games, including two against the Las Vegas Aces.
The regular season will conclude on Sept. 19 with an away game against the Washington Mystics.
