Rihanna has shared an update on social media about her ‘summer goal’ and revealed that she won’t be hitting it before the season is over as she showed off a new look

Rihanna has cheekily declared she’s ditching her “summer goal” of achieving a six-pack for a more fashion-forward target.

The Barbadian superstar and entrepreneur took to Instagram to unveil her new focus, which involves coordinating her wardrobe in an eye-catching way. In the revealing Instagram clip, Rihanna is seen flashing her bottom to fans while sporting a chic plaid pleated miniskirt.

Her caption for the saucy video read: “Since I clearly won’t be achieving my six pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties!”

However, the Work singer had a playful twist in store for her followers. In the video, Rihanna informs the person filming, “I wanted to tell you that my panties match my creepers.”

She then twirls around, lifting her skirt to display her black knickers, perfectly coordinated with her footwear. Not only did her underwear complement her shoes, but it also matched her Savage x Fenty bra, peeking out from under her open blue shirt. The voice off-camera praises the mogul for her “cute bra” prompting Rihanna to coyly confirm it’s Savage, playfully asking, “have you heard of it? “.

Devotees flocked to Rihanna’s Instagram post, gushing over her look and expressing their amusement at her antics while incessantly asking about her forthcoming album. One admirer quipped: “I’m in love with this whole look! ! ! ” Another chimed in: “Not rocking my six pack this summer.. Riri said it’s ok.”

On the subject of her much speculated ninth album, the last piece of info from RiRi herself was back in June when she spoke to Entertainment Tonight. “I think that music, for me, is a new discovery,” she disclosed to the entertainment hub, adding, “I’m rediscovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside and now I’m prepared to go back in the studio. I’m gonna start — give me a second! ”
